Zeta Surgical received FDA 510(k) clearance for its TMS Robotic System. The system robotically positions TMS coils using 3D patient imaging and tracks head movement up to 20 times per second. Zeta achieves sub-millimeter accuracy without cranial pins or anaesthesia. TMS is increasingly used for treatment-resistant depression, but many clinics still place coils freehand. Initial deployment of Zeta's robotic approach has begun at HOPE Therapeutics clinics in Florida.
